Since 2019, Tammie has been dedicated to helping new shooters become comfortable with firearms through her concealed carry classes in Fredericksburg, VA. Tammie understands how to teach women effectively because she knows how women learn, and she is also open to teaching open-minded men! Tammie specializes in training her students to be their own protectors, instilling confidence in them while using firearms. Her passion for firearms is evident in her classes, and she firmly believes that every individual has the right to protect themselves. Concealed Carry Certification
Get your VA concealed carry permit with Trinity Defense Training. Our class not only qualifies you for your CCW but also teaches you the fundaments of pistol shooting.
Utah Non Resident Concealed Carry Certification
Get your UT concealed carry permit with Trinity Defense Training. Our class covers everything you will need to apply for your Utah non resident permit.
Range Safety Officer Certification
Our NRA Range Safety Officer course equips students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. This course is nine hours long and is classroom only. Range Safety Officer candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; firearm stoppages and malfunctions, as well as conducting Range Safety Briefings which include procedures to follow in the case of an emergency.

At Trinity Defense Training, we offer non-firearms classes focused on enhancing situational awareness to help you avoid becoming a victim of crime. Personal Security and Home Defense
Learn how to train your brain to be aware of your surroundings all the time. Learn how to recognize the threat and how to react. Develop a personal protection plan for your home and family.
Real Estate Safety and Self Defense
We offer a non-firearm class at Trinity Training to educate Real Estate Agents on how to protect themselves during their job. This training is essential for those looking to protect themselves from the real dangers of being a Real Estate Agent. Classes can be held at our location or your office.
First Aid CPR/AED
We teach First Aid CPR/AED classes to certify or recertify students, ensuring they have the skills needed for emergencies. Our instructors are certified by the American Red Cross. Classes are held at our classroom or have our instructor come to you at your workplace.
Legal Use of Force
This class will cover legal use of force. We will discuss reasonable force, deadly force and how the prosecutor will evaluate your course. We will end with a discussion on the defense of your home and property. This is a must have course for anyone who carries a firearm!
Violent Encounters and the Aftermath
This course explains what physical and mental reactions may occur when a human undergoes extreme stress, such as during an incident involving deadly force. It also explains what you should do immediately after using force to defend yourself. Also, when law enforcement arrives, it is crucial that you conduct yourself in the correct manner and prepare yourself for the consequences, even when you are in the right.
USCCA First Aid Fundamentals
This class gives you the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. We will cover life threatening bleeding, heart attack, burns, broken bones, allergic reactions and so much more.
Got Your License ... Now What?
You have your concealed carry permit. Now what? This class will cover implications of being armed in public, staying safe by avoiding danger, pre-threat indicators, de-escalation and using force. This class will be an eye opener for permit holders. We will also discuss gear and gadgets. Follow up this class with our Use of Force, Violent Encounters and the Aftermath and Situational Awareness.
